- That is ridiculous. I loathe IE, but they have a right to include a web browser with Windows. Firefox has no problem advertising its product and gaining market share, so the calls of limiting competition are complete fiction. This is petty sniveling on Opera's part, plain and simple.

- As someone who never hesitates to spend a little more for high quality, I would purchase locally grown non-organic produce. I rarely hesitate to purchase organic products, but organic does not always equal "tastes better, and fresher".

- I go to a large school in Delaware, and have never ONCE come across any incidence of teachers taking class time to promote any political tripe of any sort. In fact, neither I, nor anyone I know, can detect a partisan tilt in any of our departments. I know many students who are conservative.

- Reading the tech specs behind this idea, it seems almost identical (from the implementation standpoint) to the :CueCat design. A microphone or line feed is given to the computer, which determines what you are watching, and serves up 'relevant information'.

- Another fine example of the horrors of software patents, and patents on intangible concepts. Skype isn't a cable-specific voip system. It would be a devastating blow to the internet phone movement to see such an elegan and well designed system crippled by this lawsuit.
